Meet the Waikato's Trusted Team of Painters

Having previous experience within the industry with residential, commercial and Industrial coatings Ian branched out to form ITC Ltd in 2004. Based in Cambridge the Company has grown into a team of 12 permanent staff and subcontractors.

From their base in Gillies St with workshop and spray painting facilities, ITC are able to provide off-site premises to cater for a diverse range of work for their customers.

Having built the Company over 20 years ago, Ian gives much of the credit to his staff and the Cambridge Community who have been loyal supporters of the business.

Following on from a career in Banking in the UK, Sharon’s skills with Business management have been a great asset to her husband, Ian. Having been self employed, Sharon manages the day to day administration of staff and more than 200 customers annually.

Mark brings a wealth of knowledge to ITC, having developed experience throughout UK and Europe. Mark enjoys managing the team and liaising with customers to ensure their projects are managed to keep to the required timeframes. Highly organised and with a depth of knowledge, Mark has proven to be an exceptional asset to the Company. Marks interests include Fishing Family and Rugby. Mark is a keen supporter of Leamington Rugby and a fan of the Hurricanes.

With 9 years at ITC. Lee has enjoyed a senior role in charge of training our apprentices. With a lifetime of experience, Lees knowledge within the industry and his passion for hanging wallpaper and murals is well respected by his peers and customers throughout the Waikato. A keen fisher man and Archery buff, Lee also can be found doing Voluntary work for Bird and Forest throughout the South Waikato.

Mark has been with ITC as a senior tradesman for the past 9 years. Marks skills and professionalism have been a fantastic role model to the younger staff members and enjoys a great repour with his customers. Marks interests include family and fishing and is a keen representative Snooker player for Cambridge.

BCITO Qualified. Aimee is in her 6th year in the industry. As a nominee for Waikato apprentice of the Year, Aimee’s skills reflect well upon her abilities as a respected tradesperson within the industry.

Aimee has also been selected by The NZ Training Industry Board to assist with the promotion of the Painting and Decorating Industry to School Leavers. Along with Netball, her partner and family keep her busy when she’s away from work.

From a local Cambridge family, Brodie joined the team from High School and has been with ITC for 6 years. A BCITO graduate, Brodie has qualified as a Tradesman painter and is taking on a leadership role within the team. A keen fan of NBL, Brodie enjoys Basketball from the sideline.

In his 6th year at ITC Amos has qualified through the BCITO apprenticeship training scheme. H e is always at hand to teach others new skills and when not at work Amos can be found keeping fit at the gym. Recently married, Amos is a great team member.

Alex is a great team player and has been working throughout the Waikato Painting and decorating for the past 4 years. He has been keen to further his skills within the team over the past 12 months.

Demi is an enthusiastic learner and has developed excellent skills within the 6 months she has worked at ITC. Keen to further her career, Demi is a quick learner and takes exceptional pride in her work.

Following his fathers footsteps, Jack has entered the trade with much enthusiasm and during the short time at ITC has demonstrated a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for quality work. Jack is keen to start an apprenticeship with the BCITO training scheme and is well on his way to developing his career.
